Our commitment to the Canberra community goes beyond just baking delicious sourdough bread and pastries. Canberra has our heart, and as proud members of the local area, we believe in giving back and making a positive impact wherever we can.
We constantly tweak our production of sourdough to try and get it spot on and ensure there is little leftover. For the times that we do have leftovers, we don’t let it go to waste. We have a long-standing relationship with local farmers who turn this surplus into nutritious feed for their cattle.This not only supports the farmers but also ensures that every loaf has a second life, contributing to a more sustainable food system.
We partner with Anglicare throughout the year, often engaging in a ‘match it’ donation system to provide Canberrans doing it tough with bread and baked goods.
You’ll find us engaging in community events and fundraisers and we’re always keen to partner with other small businesses.
