Granola with Blood Orange Compote


  • TMB Baker’s Granola
  • Your fave creamy vanilla yoghurt
  • Halva

Blood Orange Compote
(make in advance and you’ll have some leftover for later!)

  • 4x medium blood oranges
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • water


Blood Orange Compote

  1. Slice off the orange peel and carefully separate slices from membrane. Transfer slices to bowl.
  2. Squeeze as much juice into a measuring cup as possible from the membranes and any collected during slicing. It should be about 1/4 cup.
  3. Add water until it reaches 3/4 cup of liquid.
  4. In a saucepan bring liquid, sugar, honey and cinnamon to a boil.
  5. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until liquid has formed into a syrup.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  7. Allow to cool and pour over fresh slices of orange.


  1. Pour granola into bowl
  2. Top with a generous dollop of yoghurt
  3. Crumble halva on top
  4. Spoon on your compote
  5. Enjoy!
